I'm currently addicted to:
"Lagos-born and Dubai-based artist, Santi. I'm so inspired by him. Not only as a musician, but he also writes and directs all his own music videos. His debut album, "Mandy & the Jungle", is insanely beautiful and energizing. This was all I listened to when I designed Spring 2020 denim and I hope that some of that feeling is captured through the collection."
My forever style icon is:
"Kate Moss. My favorite era being her early modeling days. All of those silhouettes are timeless to me: a straight-legged jean, a drapey button-up shirt or the perfect denim jacket. I'm constantly inspired by how these seemingly basic denim silhouettes rework their way into style in new ways after all these years."
Lately, I've been feeling really inspired by:
"Landscape photography. Richard Mosse's signature style of shooting with infrared film makes for the most stunning photos."
I absolutely love the work of:
"@TessaForrest, a graphic designer who features her typography work on @Subliming.JPG. Her feed is comprised of inspirational quotes from philosophers like Eckhart Tolle and Thich Nhat Hanh, reworked into super rad graphic typography. Social media can be draining at times, but seeing her art feels so refreshing on my timeline. It's like a motivational quote a day. "Do it for Yourself" is currently my phone background."
