Today, this mixed martial arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu continues to be a force to be reckoned with. Mackenzie’s flawless MMA record is a testament to her dedication and ability to put in the work, and that contagious smile reminds us the importance of loving it along the way!

I'm a happy person, that's my personality. When I'm staying active in the sun, meeting with my friends, that's what keeps me happy and true to myself.

I learned to get confident because of fighting. We have a certain weight we have to fight at, and that weight isn't my walking weight. Sometimes you're heavier, sometimes you're lighter and it doesn't change who you are.

I am always trying to get better without [constructive criticism], so when I have people that show me something that I didn't see, I take it and I ask why. Sometimes I don't agree but I have an open mind.

My mom is a big role model for me. The way she thinks and takes a step back and look at things, I try to take that into my career.
