Nadia Aboulhosn’s Guide to Greece
As a model on the move, our Good Squad-er Nadia Aboulhosn’s been to her fair share of amazing places. Lucky for us, she documents her adventures via her Instagram so we can destination dream along the way. Evidenced by her stunning images, her recent trip to Greece was met with fantastic food, seaside excursions, and breathtaking scenery. Here, Nadia recounts the details of her most memorable moments in the capital of Athens and on the island of Santorini, located in the southern Aegean Sea. Make note of her first-hand musts as you plan your own Grecian getaway!
Where to Stay
An hour outside of Athens, the Dolce Attica Riviera was Nadia’s standout accommodation while in Greece. “They have a bunch of chairs to lay out right by the water. The water is so clear, so blue and the mountains are beautiful to see. They have a pool too which is nice to get in especially after the sun sets. Also, their entire lobby is what I want my future office to look like!”

Where to Eat
If you find yourself in Santorini, make sure to have a meal at Metaxi Mas. “It's near the middle of the island off behind a church,” Nadia recounts. “The food is amazing. They have a cute little section to sit outside and eat. I chose to sit there because it was so beautiful. The potatoes with parmesan cheese are everything, and I really enjoyed their Cretan salad.”

The Beach That Beats All Beaches
Greece is covered with the most beautiful beaches in the world, but for Nadia, Santorini’s White Beach in the village of Akrotiri will forever be her favorite, “It was GORGEOUS. We took a boat taxi there which is about 15 minutes. It pulls you right up on the beach since it's impossible to get to by foot or car. The rocks resembled glaciers they were so white!”

For The View of a Lifetime
We’re all familiar with the stunning photos of Santorini’s mountainsides, dotted in white homes and churches hovering over a perfect blue sea. But is this tourist favorite an overhype? According to Nadia, definitely not. “While in Santorini, I would for sure recommend going to the capital to see all of the cave houses. Pick a restaurant there to eat at and watch the sun set.
Where to Walk Around
With its red-tinted cliffs and charming fishing boats, Santorini’s Amoudi Bay is the perfect place for a daytime excursion or evening out, according to Nadia. “It’s a quiet little bay where there are a bunch of seafood restaurants. I had dinner here while the sun was setting. I suggest you reserve a table beforehand, though!”
