Audreyana Michelle
If Audreyana Michelle has not yet appeared in your Insta feed yet—just you wait because this girl is on FIRE. She moved to Los Angeles just over a year ago and has already modeled for the likes of Marc Jacobs and Kylie Cosmetics…to name a few. Read our exclusive Q&A on how she’s taking over the world one campaign (and bag of Hot Cheetos) at a time.
You’ve been traveling all over the world for work—what’s the best place you’ve visited so far?
Paris!!
What beauty products are you currently obsessed with?
I'm currently obsessed with highlighters and nude lipglosses. I love a good glow.
Have you had any “pinch me moments” during your career (so far)?
My entire career so far has been one huge pinch me moment but if I had to choose it'd probably be one of my very first shoots when I did this Marc Jacobs Beauty video. I went crazy when I got the email. It still doesn't feel real to have done everything I've already done in the past year though.
What do you hope to accomplish in the next 5 years?
My modeling goal is to book a huge beauty campaign/contract and eventually shoot for Vogue.
Okay so anyone who follows you knows you are OBSESSED with Hot Cheetos—tell us about this obsession…
Ever since I was a kid I've been obsessed with Hot Cheetos. I don't know how it became such an addiction but I love anything spicy.
If you could only use one Snapchat filter for the rest of your life – which would it be?
I love the filter that makes my eyes and lips huge.
What inspired you to move to LA?
Well, I got signed the summer of 2016 and I started working right away. I lived in Arizona but I was only home 2 days a week so I figured I might as well just move. I love LA.
Since living in LA, what are your go-to spots?
I love eating at sweetgreen and shopping on Melrose or The Grove!!
How would you describe your style?
My style is very casual but still super stylish and hot. It kind of changes everyday. I also LOVE wearing all black.
Who is your ultimate denim icon?
2001 Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake when they wore denim everything on the [2001 American Music Awards red] carpet.
You are so amazing at connecting on social media—what’s the most inspiring exchange you’ve had with a follower?
One time I received a long message from this person saying they appreciate that I don't care about what people think and that no matter how many followers or success I have that I've remained humble. That meant so much to me to see that people actually recognized that. It feels good to know that I inspire others to be confident and love themselves and not conform to the rest of the world.
What does it mean to be a ‘good American girl’?
A good American girl to me means being beautiful on the inside and having confidence in believing you're beautiful on the outside as well. Everyone is different in every shape and form and that's what I love about Good American and the purpose behind this brand. Loving yourself and your body and embracing it in some Good American jeans!!
