What’s the best modeling/career advice you’ve ever received?
Some of the best advice I've gotten was from my mom. She always told me in any circumstance to "stay true to yourself". This advice has stuck with me because sometimes in a fast-paced industry like the modeling world, comparing yourself to others is common and it's been so helpful to refer back to my mom’s advice when this happens.
You’re constantly hopping between LA and NY. How is it living a bi-coastal life?
So far it’s been amazing. LA and New York are such different places. The energy in New York inspires me to be more creative and outgoing and I love that. I also love being able to chill in LA and take things slow but so far I’ve been extremely happy with the experiences I’ve had in both places. Overall, I feel so so lucky and blessed.
Your modeling career feels like it’s just getting started and has been wildly successful. What’s been your favorite highlight so far?
My favorite thing so far has been traveling and experiencing different cultures while meeting so many amazing people. Vogue Japan was super cool because the fashion and scenery were both amazing.
How has growing up in the spotlight shaped you?
It's cool to grow up in a family that is a part of the same industry that I am becoming a part of because most of it has become normalized to me at a young age. Another great thing about it is that both of my parents have so much insight and advice about the industry [my sister and I] are entering which is so helpful. My parents are so supportive and loving. They support me in all my decisions and work.
What is something your followers don’t know about you?
They probably don’t know that I’m super interested in psychology and self-help/ meditation. Along with that I also love to sing.
What is your dream modeling gig?
I’ve been so lucky to have come this far in my modeling career. I’ve already worked with so many amazing people and companies! It’s been amazing but if I had to choose a dream modeling gig it would probably be a cover of Vogue.
If you were to give an aspiring model advice, what would it be?
To work hard and always be nice to everyone :)
If you had to choose an alternative career what would it be?
I’m honestly really happy with what I’m doing now so I probably wouldn’t choose anything else! If I had to pick another career it would probably be studying psychology and hopefully pursuing something in that field.
What does a ‘good American girl’ mean to you?
It’s the confidence that shines from a woman when she wears these clothes. It’s so inspiring to see women who love their bodies and feel comfortable wearing what they love and rocking what they got!
